It is going to vary by school & how competitive it is, but it was said at the info session for my school last week that 70's & 80's were good. We have 400+ students applying for 100 positions every semester. They also said that the science portion counts more.

Generally, whether you did good or bad depends on what the minimum scores are that your school requires, and whether you did better than those who took the test at your particular school. At one nursing program here, a student needs to score at least 40 in each subject to be considered for the program. However, a student could score a 60 in all subjects (which would technically qualify her for the program), but that 60 may not be one of the highest scores among the students who took the TEAS for that particular school, so she still might not be admitted. This is if your school only takes the highest-scoring students for its program.
When I and some of my friends took the TEAS, we didn't know just from the score itself whether we were accepted, because we didn't know if we had the highest scores. There is a program average that is reported on the TEAS results, but I knew a couple of students who scored below the average, but still got accepted. Others may have had a different experience with TEAS results, so this is just my personal observation. :)

As others have mentioned, it depends on the requirements of your school. The community colleges around here (No. CA) have a minimum requirement of 67% for entrance to ADN programs. While instead of a cut score some state schools (BSN) take the top ranking students applying for the same program. That would be the program percentile ranking - which is either for ADN or BSN - which ever you signed up for.
So in your case, if the program you applied only wants a score of 71% or higher, you are fine and have exceeded the requirement. So that would be good. You will want to make sure they do not have a minimum score for the individual subjects that is greater than what you scored for the various subjects.
The national avg is the average score in the US last year, that percentile changes annually. You are just a bit below that, but very close to the average score. If the program you applied to takes students based on percentile ranking (usually along with GPA) you might have a bit of trouble unless others who applied scored near your score, or the program isn't very competitive. Some schools give a certain number of points based on your ranking or score, and a certain number of points based on your grades, maybe bonus points for other skills - a second language or previous health care or volunteer experience, so that you can bring your composite up. Others weigh certain subjects of the test more than other, so you will want to know that, too.
Really the best thing to do is contact the program and find out what they are looking for. They will usually tell you exactly what they are interested in.
Good luck!
Thank you so much!!
Thanks for the reply... Hopefully I did well enough.
Its just really hard to be patient to find out if I made it in...
