I am just beginning my nursing education at NSC and cuurently considered as a pre-nursing student. I have a bit of dilemma in regards to the best way to get myself to started with my nursing career. This is my scenario:
At NSC, my worry, as fellow nursing classmates is securing a spot in their accelerated program. It is still unclear and not guaranteed if I can get in. I have almost a 3.4, but can still raise that because I have yet to complete several pre-reqs before the January deadline. In CSN, however, I am almost certain of gaining entrance into their ADN pgm, but it is just an associates as oppose to NSC's BSN. Not sure which route to take: Get an ADN at CSN which has little pre-reqs to get an ADN (which I can complete the program in a year, probably less), start working while working on my bridge to BSN or stick with NSC which will give me my BSN after 15+ months IF I can gain entrance into their program. But even after I get that BSN from NSC, I will be graduating with no experience yet, as oppose to getting an ADN from CSN, which will allow me to gain experience while working on getting my BSN. Please help. Need some advise. I probably made a muck out of my explanation, but I hope it kinda makes sense
