Help an RN BFA find a psych NP school?

Published

Specializes in hospice.

I have a bachelors of fine arts in another discipline. I'm currently an LPN. I graduate from my ADN program in 2 weeks. I know that I want to become a psych NP. My instructor advised me to go straight into an NP RN-MSN program. The trouble is, I can't find one.

The resource I'm using to look for schools states that school X offers MSN degrees in several specialties including psych NP. I go to the website and I see everything except psych NP. The few (OK, 1 , actually) programs I have found state that one must already have the BSN degree to apply.

Does snyone know of a school that offers a psych NP RN - MSN program? I don't mind if it's super competitive and super expensive.

The alternative is spending a year getting a BSN and then applying to Drexel. That's not a bad course, but it's a ton of money (form the BSN) that I don't want to spend unless I really have to.

Vanderbilt has a psych NP program with an ADN-entry level (RNs without BSN).
