I have to write a paper about an issue I saw in my clinical placement (I am placed at a independent living facility for seniors)
what I noticed was a high amount of depression among the residents
So I found articles about depression and the rate of undiagnosed depression and how health care professionals might not have enough education on how to recognize depression in the elderly
so this i my question I was thinking. but I am not sure if it is a proper research question? it shouldnt be a yes or no question right?
Why is depression among the older adult population unrecognized and not properly diagnosed within residential care facilities?
or
What are the effects of depression being unrecognized and properly diagnosed among residential care facilities by health care professionals?
I don't know which one would be better and more narrowed down?
please and thank you

Why can't you do a research paper on both of them? Both subjects sounds fascinating.

Flip a coin. They're both fine. Perhaps you'll decide to go into being a geri NP and have some real effect on their lives.
