To Anyone Out There Who Would Know. I Was Reported To The Board Of Nursing For Practicing Beyond The Scope Of My License By A Physician. I Withheld A B/p Medication Because I Did Not Feel Comfortable Giving It (low B/p) And I Wrote An Order For Oxygen (o2 Sat Was

First of all, why do you capitalize all your words? That is really annoying. Second of all, I think there is more to the story than you are letting on. Thirdly, this is not the place to get legal advice. No one here is a lawyer. I would contact the Board or an independent lawyer to get some advice.

The fact that you capitalize all your words and make run on sentences makes it really difficult to understand the information you are trying to convey. Only capitalize first words of the sentence and proper nouns as a general rule.

Hello Siri And Thank You For Responding To My Message. As To Your Question. No, I Do Not Have A New Charge Against Me Or A New Probation. The Incident Happened In 2003, But Was Not Brought Up For Review Or Investigation Until 2004. It Was Completed In February Of 2005 At Which Time I Was Placed On Probation For A Year. Either They Didn't Think That It Was Of Utmost Importance Or They (nursing Board) Were Backed Up. I Don't Know. The Investigator Was Very Nice And Referred To The Charge As Unfair In Her Own Words And Felt That I Was The Only One Being Honest About The Situation And Did Go On To State In The Letter To The Board, In My Defense That I Was Very Cooperative. Off The Record She Told Me That No One At The Facility Knew Anything When Asked. She Knew That This Wasn't True But The Investigation Had To Go On. This Job Was Through A Pool Agency. I Had Been At My Regular Job Full Time For 7 And A Half Years. We Had New Management Come In And Usually Knew Management Brings In Their Own People. One Particular Person Wanted My Job For Someone Else And Had Been Working To Get Me Out Since Their Arrival 8 Months Ago. She Finally Did. I Tried To Stay There At Least Until By Probation Was Over In February, Then Look For Another Job. Those 8 Months With Her Were Terrible. Everyone Knew What The Management Person Was Doing, But What Can You Do But Hope. My Place Of Employment Has To Complete A Work Performance Evaluation Every Three Months Until My Probation Is Completed. If I Change Jobs, Then The New Employer Must Be Made Aware Of The Probation And Must Continue To Complete The Work Performance Evaluation. I Was 2 Months Short Of The Completion. I Hope This Clarifies Some Unanswered Or Unclear Areas In My Problem.

I understand now. Thank you.

I don't think probation will keep you from working. Now, some employers might not hire because of it, but, there are many nurses who are on probation and working.

You might contact your state BON and see exactly their protocol for securing a new position.

I understand now that your dismissal was in no way related to the probation. Just ugly politics. I am sorry for that.

And, as a side note, I know you now know you must practice within the scope of practice.

I might point out that some computers will not allow anything but capitalization of each word in a sentence. I am sure this is not intentional on the part of the OP.
