Help with prioritizing please.

In prioritizing a nursing diagnosis for c-section which would be most important? Acute Pain or Impaired Skin/Tissue Integrity. Yes the patient had impaired integrity with severe pain with that being the main complaint that day. What would be the highest priority? Thanks for any help?

When prioritizing we use maslows. If the physiological i.e. pain is not met you can not move up to the next level.

this! always pain! unless you have something else that is more important than pain, such as compromised ABC's...then pain is not your priority.
