Help pls on NCLEX ATT Info

Hi everyone, I've received the eligibility notice from the state board of california and the letter was dated April 28, 2006. Now, I've just started reviewing (been busy with a lot of things) and I'll be sending the registration form by tomorrow. In the letter it says there that my file will become inactive with Pearson VUE if i do not register within two years from the date of the eligibility letter. So, basing from the date, it will expire by April 2008. No problem in that right? now my question is, is the ATT received only after my registration form have been received by the NCLEX operations? I'm quite confused because when i read the Candidate Bulletin page 6, its says there "After your board of nursing declares you eligible, you will recieve your ATT." I didn't receive an ATT after i was made eligible. From what i understood before, i should register first, then receive my ATT, and i haven't registered yet. Please be so kind to answer my queries. Thank you.

After you got your eligibility letter ,you must register first At PEARSON VUE,thru mail or thru the web, to get your ATT no,The fee for nclex is$200.and after your registration you can now schedule you exam within the validity dates printed on the ATT. If you register thru mail you will receive you ATT 1-2 weeks, i did on the web i received my ATT just a seconds,or if you register thru phone just give your e mail address then you will received you ATT right away on you e mail add, then they gonna give a password to their site for you to be able to schedule your examination what ever dates you wants within 2yrs from date of your ATT validity. oks! hope you get it... goodluck

Kookie,

Based on my understanding, you will only receive your ATT once you have registered and paid the required fee at PearsonVue (i think its $200). Having an eligibility is just one part of the entire process....Once made eligible, then, you can now register and take your nclex exam by paying the said amount of $200 and your ATT follows....hope I made it clear for you friend...good luck!
