I know that central lines are considered wounds because they are not peripherally inserted, even if they are not being used.
Once the line is dc'd but site is still fresh (less than 24 hrs) is it still considered a wound? Thanks!!

Actually the lesion question is going away soon as 100% of pts have a yes answer to skin lesion.

I would answer yes on that one, Dutch.
It would be a surgical wound.. "incision". May be wrong, but that's what I would put. NrsKaren may be better to help you on this one.. check with her to be sure ! :)
