HELP with nursing diagnosis

Published

I'm stuck for a nursing diagnosis for my care plan. My imaginary patient had hypertension while pregnant and after having baby is still hypertensive. The nursing diagnosis book is only confusing me. What does the RC stand for? I don't want anyone to do my homework for me but just to point me in the right direction.

In what context does the RC abbreviation appears on?

If pt. is still hypertensive after giving birth, the first thing I thought was postpartum preeclampsia? Or perhaps pt. just had chronic hypertension to begin with.

Have you decided on what your top priorities are? You know more about this imaginary patient and its current assessments than we do.
