HELP - Nurse Practitioner considering second NP job on weekends

Help. I’m an NP at a big research institution where I am a cosmetic injector. I work a normal 8-5. I’m fielding offers from private practices for weekend injectable work. Can I do this? Does it conflict with my day job? Do I need to seek advice from an attorney? What about promoting my side hustle on my instagram?

if you think I should go for it - what sort of pay structure should I ask for? Base + commission? Commission only? Minimum plus commission?

Read your contract or job description. If there is no non-competing clause (the words that say you cannot seek similar employment within X miles around or under some other circumstances while employed where you are now), then just go ahead and take a gig. If there us a clause, you can't do it, with lawyer or without.

Do not know about pay, but you for 100% will need your own malpractice.
