does anyone know a theory that would relate to my study about: Analyzing the effectiveness of rationalizing the answers after every evaluation exam

Since you topic is not really about nursing care or the nursing process itself ... I would think that a nursing theory would probably not be the best choice. You should probably be looking at educational theories or theories of learning that might be found in psychology.

Did you take courses in education to prepare you to do educational research? What theories did you learn in those classes? What theories did you find when you did a literature review of your topic area? What theories are used by educational researchers to study those types of questions?

I think that is where you should start -- not with a nursing theory.

Your study is really an educational study, not a nursing study.
