Please help!!!!
I will be graduating in May and no longer want to live in Maine. I am planning on moving south ( North Carolina) I am looking to find a job that will help me pay back my loans. I'm 80 grand deep I have no idea on what I need to be looking for and where to start. I am planning on flying down next week and start searching. It is hard to look on the internet. If anyone works down south or has a different location that I should try I'm all ears.
Thanks a bunch!

Do a search for a state nursing site. Arkansas has one that gives links and is very helpful. North Carolina probably does also.
Look for hospitals that are in same groups as you trained...that way you will
be somewhat familiar with their policies, etc.
Think about what you personally want to do in nursing.
Look at the cost of living in area you are moving to....I for example, would
walk through a grocery store and check out rent costs, etc., before moving
to an area. This helped me. Also, actually driving the areas helped me
decide if the area was anywhere I would/could endure/enjoy to actually
live in day to day.
I did that in Florida years ago and decided I could not stand Miami, but
loved the Gulf coast/St Petersburg area.
These are some tools I have used in decision making. Hope it helps.
