Hey guys! I'm an RN for over 20 years. Presently being treated for back injury for over a year. I need a good physiatrist! My present doc doesn't seem to want to do anything more to help me with my pain, and we have been at a standstill since last fall! I want to explore more trreatment for this chronic pain. I have started seeing a pain specialist, however my lawyer (worker's comp) says that I also NEED to have a physiatrist on my case. (or an orthopedic with a strong background in back issues). I want someone with a good bedside manner, who will actually listen to my issues, and who is not just serving the hospital/insurance company :angryfire instead of me..the PATIENT! Please help if you can,

Dr. Dubov is a good physiatrist. Doesn't score the highest in bedsie manner though. I work with him a lot on the trauma floor. He's the only one I know.
Sorry for the delay in answering your post, but I don't get on AN.com as much as I used to.
