Hello! I am a single busy mom that wants to pursue a career in Nursing Informatics. I am definitely a non-traditional student at the age of 45. So needless to say, if has been a very, very long time since I was in school. I am looking at several of the more inexpensive online programs such as Capella, Chamberlain, Walden, Wilkes and Western Governors. I have become completely overwhelmed by all the information I am reading and I need some advice. I requested information from these schools, hoping more for information through email. Nope! My phone is blowing up with these schools calling me! I want to hear from students and graduates of these Nursing Informatics programs. I read a lot about, classroom time, class discussion, group projects, research paper, etc., and try and figure how I will fit such requirements into my crazy, busy schedule! I WANT to do this! I have for a long time and have just been to scared to move forward! Now I am ready! So what are my best options when it comes to my busy life and an online Nursing Informatics program! What are the pros and the cons!
I appreciate an insight, and thank you for your time!!!
