Help!! LEHMAN Accelerated minimum GPA

Hi everybody!!

I am taking my pre-requisites for the accelerated nursing program at Lehman. I have just one more class to take and I'll have all my science pre-requisites. If I get an A in that last one, my accumulative GPA woulb 3.66. Reading some of the forums, I'm really freaking out that GPA would not be enough to get into the program.

Does someone know what was the minimum GPA to get into the program this year?

I would really appreciate your comments.

Hi there! I guess you will be applying to the ABSN at Lehman to start fall 2018! So will I! But to answer your question, your GPA may not be competitive enough, unfortunately. The last time I contacted the school, I was informed about 12-20 students are accepted, and average GPA of admitted applicants was 3.8. Many students apply with a 4.0 GPA so competition is fierce. However, Lehman also requires HESI, so if you rock it, you may still have a good chance of getting in!!! My advice also, when you apply for the ABSN, select generic BSN as well.

Hi there! Lol, I am not even prepping for the exam at all. I have just completed A&P 1, and I will be taking A&P 2 this fall. I will be taking the exam in winter when it is offered at Lehman. Honestly, I have not been able to find any practice questions to prep for critical thinking. I did, however, was able to find some NCLEX practice questions so I did those. They are similar to the ones we will find on HESI.

Hi Hazel518, I did apply to the generic and got accepted.
