hi all,
posted yesterday and just have to post again cause I'm freaking out. I took the nclex yesterday it went off at 75 questions but I feel like i bombed it. For one I couldn't think straight since I was so nervous 2) I got a ton of select all that apply which i'm horrible at 3) somewhere in the middle of the test I noticed that the questions were very knowlege based (still hard but more knowledge) which scared me because i was like uh oh must be doing bad then at towards the end I got the who would you see first higher questions. I was hoping I would have more questions to "prove" myself since I think I bombed some of the more fairly straight forward questions in the beginning b/c of nerves.
I've been trying to keep busy all day long (results not available till tomorrow) but I'm just so nervous I failed and keep having crying spells. It's awful. To top if off another classmate (who passed) stated that the MAJORITY of her test was prioritization higher level questions so NOW I'm thinking since I didn't get them until the end maybe they were just in their because they had to fill up the end of the test with something. I'm just afraid I dug a hole so far down in the middle of the test that I shot myself in the foot.
I took my test 6/30/06 and the machine stopped at 75 questions. Had all the same type of questions you did. Left the testing center feeling really upset as I thought I didn't know enough of the answers. But found out I passed. I think I was really stressed waiting because I started a new Job as a RN the next week. Really felt under pressure. My friend took the test Wednesday and also passed with 75 questions. Relax, and have faith
Good Luck
Remember that 15 of those 75 questions were pilot questions, and were not counted as test questions. Good luck, I'm sure you will find out very soon you passed! :)
It kinda stinks right now in NJ, it's not like I could advise you to go to the casinoes or something to relax! Oh, and btw, the NJ state BON is also shut down, so I would not be suprised if that delays things a bit in some way with Pearson. It sure has delayed me getting my license number!

Hey everyone! I just checked for my results on the Pearson website (I took my exam Thursday AM) and still no results available. Several of my friends took the exam this past week and had to wait 2-3 business days before their results were available. So, unfortunately, we might have to wait until Monday.
I am really stressed, too, but just trying to be positive....
We are all in this together! I will be sure to let you know how I did when I find out. All I know is, each one of us deserves to pass and this exam really tests your determination to be a nurse - no one would put themselves through this if they didn't care about the profession!
