Help! I just moved to Northern VA and I need help finding a nursing school!

U.S.A. Virginia

I came from NC and where I lived there was a nursing school that offered evening and night classes. I'm looking for a nursing school that'd offer the same in the Northern Virginia area but I'm having a hard time locating one. I currently work and plan on working while in school. If anyone could help me that would be GREATLY appreciated!

I've lived in virginia my whole life and have done a ton of research on nursing programs. I can honestly say I've never seen any nursing program that offers night classes. I don't think it's that common. I'd say if you aren't having any luck you may need to move down south where there are more programs. I don't know of many nursing programs in NOVA since most seem to be down south. Sorry I couldn't really help

Ahh that sucks! There is a possibility that my husband will be able to take care of things while I'm in school. I've looked at George Mason University and NOVA community college. Any other schools you'd recommend?

Are you looking for ADN or BSN? If you are looking at BSN then go for Bon Secours here in Richmond! It's incredible! 100% pass rate on the NCLEX for 1st time test takers for 13 years straight! Bon Secours also has an RN-BSN program as well if you decide to go the ADN route.

Since you have lived in VA your whole life. Could you share on the different hospitals in the northern VA area? I will be relocating to that are and would appreciate any and all opinions on hospitals there
