:(so i'm a nursing II student in a private mass. college. our policy is u must pass wit a 75 final grade as well as get a 75 on your final to move on to nurs.III. usually if u go in with a 75 to take the final and you don't get a 75 on the final they normally let you have a retake of the final. however this is not in the nursing handbook, it is just sumthing they would let you do. but this semster they said no retakes. so go figure i go in with a 79 and get a 74 on the final and still have a 77 for a grade but i failed. now i appealed it so i can have a retake. they said no, no retakes i failed. can anyone please help me. has anyone gone thru this. how do i handle this the right way to win and be able to move on to nurs. III or retake the exam..... PLEASE SOMEONE ANYONE HELP ME I'M DESPERATE.......:(:confused::confused::confused::confused::confused::confused:

Don't feel bad my friend. At my small christian private school anything less than an 80 is a D and you fail. They also have a no rounding up policy so a 79.99 is 79 and of course you fail. Along with these strict grading scales students take most pre-req's along with nursing courses and clinicals. Through it all I just passed my first semester, and it goes to show you to just keeping pushing through. Even if you have to retake a class, don't let anyone get in your way of your career objectives.
