Help! FNP student seeks preceptor in Los Angeles area

Hello:

I am a first-year Family Nurse Practitioner student, and I am looking for a clinical preceptor in a family practice setting.

I am looking for a clinical placement approximately 2 days a week, and I would be able to start immediately, after the appropriate affiliation agreement and paperwork with my school is squared away.

I've tried cold-calling places and have gotten nowhere. I have tried asking other boards here in allnurses.com (California forum, graduate school assistance forum). I'm a student member of my state NP association, have gone to meetings, and have inquired about preceptors without much luck.

Please PM (private message) me if you would be able to help. Thanks so much!

@ChiaLing:

Hi, I know this post has been like 4 years ago. But I need your help! please!

I want to know how was your FNP master's program at CSULA?

I would like some feedback on the classes, professors, preceptorship, etc.

I recently got accepted for FNP at csula and csulb. and I am still trying to decide...it has been difficult!

Thank you so much in advanced for all your help!!!!
