I'm looking for an online FNP program that is both nationally and regionally accredited. I highly prefer they split clinical hours over at least 4 quarters or semesters, but it is not required. I also need a school that is flexible in GPA requirements.
BA, Psychology = 2.15
AAS, Nursing = 3.6
RN-BSN = 3.8
3 graduate level MSN courses = 4.0
However, my cumulative undergrad GPA is still a 2.8 and it isn't going to go up. I have found several schools that only require a 3.0 in the BSN and I'm golden, but my BA and my BSN are from the same school so the GPAs are combined on the transcript and cannot be separated. I applied to Cincinnati and Ohio University and I was rejected from both for that reason - they were unwilling to separate the GPAs for the two degrees and the degree granting institution won't do it either. So I need a school that is flexible and willing to consider that fact. I do have great letters of recommendation.
My final requirement is tuition has to be reasonable. I need it to be under $30k for the program. Ohio University was well within this requirement, but unfortunately they wouldn't consider me. There has to be others! I don't want my immature youth to be something I am never able to overcome to pursue my passion, but we unfortunately cannot go into massive debt to do so either.
