Help diagnosing what's wrong

Hello all,

I'm a new nurse who has been feeling under the weather lately and thought I would turn to the expertise of all the nurses here for some help. I've been experiencing a mild bilateral headache, eyes feeling strained (like I've been looking at a tv for too long), ear pressure, and what feel like swollen parotid glands for roughly a month and a half. At first my physician prescribed a 10 day dose of amoxicillin, then a 10 day dose of omnicef (neither of which were effective), then after seeing an ENT I've been on flonase which hasn't been helping either. No runny nose, cough, sore throat (besides glands), or fever. A CT was even performed to rule out severe ear infection or sinusitis. Not sure where to go from here so any advice/suggestions would be greatly appreciated as to what next steps to take.

I'm sorry that you've been struggling with this illness. It's very frustrating to feel sick and not have any answers. You need to seek further assistance from your primary doctor or other specialists such as a neurologist, ophthalmologist, another ENT, etc.
