HELP! Class assignment needs to be completed

I need the following questions answered related to correctional care. any help would be greatly appreciated. 1. How long was your training prior to working in the prison? 2. Do you feel the self defence course offered prepared you for attack? 3. How would you react to being taken hostage? 4. Have you ever had to preform CPR inside the prison If so what happened? Any help with these questions again would be graetly appreciated. This is only the first of many assignments. Thanks again in advance.

Yes, I said the same..."what self defense course"...we were told that if we should become hostages "we are no longer employees"...we are too much as a liabilty, I guess.

I will say, however, when I worked down in Florida for the Florida Dept. of Corrections (Jeb's boys)...we did get a good orientation that included alittle self defense...but that is usually reserved for correctional officers.

However, security down there is not a problem like the current situation that I am in...a private company.
