You may want to check the Florida Board of Nursing's website and look at the NCLEX success rate. Keiser and City are private colleges. So, they are going to be expensive. Personally, I'm a public school girl. But, I think the NCLEX success rates are the most effective way to determine a school's worthiness!

We need more info from you re how many pre-requisites have you completed, do u have a prior degree, what is your gpa, is finances a problem etc.

Having said that, I would strongly reccommend the local community colleges i.e Broward College in Broward County or Miami Dade in Dade Dade County. What city do you livein?

As far as I know, MD doesn't have a wait list, it is based on cummulative gpa and Miami dade requires Chemistry and lab as well as Intermediate algebra which BC does not require. BC requires only Beg. Algebra, AP1 and 2 and labs, English 1, and that is it. Miami Dade has more pre-requisites.

Either college would be great at a fraction of the cost that Keiser or any other private college would cost eg $7k vs $20-$30k for the same license. The only big difference I would reccommend Keiser if your gpa is not good or if time is a factor even if you have a decent gpa or if you have lots of pre requisites to complete as I understand that you can complete your ASN at Keiser in 2yrs including all prerequisites as they allow u to take one class a month. However, you will pay dearly as it is quite expensive.

Barry University in Miami Shores and NOva in Davie also has excellent programs but the cost is astronomical.
