Hi everyone,
I have been worrying about my chances about getting into the Bridging to University program in Centennial College for a while and is still willing to get into Ryerson in the future (as I’ve been a previous student before). I have currently transfered from the regular Practical Nursing to its flex program since I had to repeat a Theory course from semester 2. Now that I have to repeat a course this summer 2019, I’ve been told by my academic advisor that I cannot get into the bridging program anymore. Is this true? Although it does say so on the Centennial website, from what I read in the website it says that there should be “no repeats or fails in the bridging program”. So does this still apply to my current Practical Nursing program as well? I hope to get some advice from you soon as I cannot seem to find much help from the school itself. I have planned to get into Ryerson for a long time and to finish my degree as an RN but it seems that my chances on getting there are slim.
Therefore, please give me some advice if you have any knowledge or experience similar to my position. Also, I wish to get some recommendation on how I can get into finishing a nursing degree from a Toronto University if possible.
Thank you!

Hi. It is Ryerson's policy not to accept anyone who has failed any nursing courses. Therefore, Centennial is just screening everyone and making sure students know this.
My friend had one failed nursing class so she went to GeorgeBrown-Trent instead. But this is fulltime. She is now an RN even before me since I did parttime & mishaps in Ryerson.
Centennial Bridging to University Nursing:
QuoteNote: To be eligible for admission to Ryerson University, Daphne Cockwell School of Nursing, students must maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher with no course repeats or failures in this program.
