I have a question that I couldn't find the answer to. I have applied to a lpn to rn school. I hadn't been accepted yet but I think I have a good chance of getting in. My mind has been wondering and I havent been able to find this information. How goes your LPN experince court. Do you graduate as a new grad with no experience are will employers take your lpn experience.

I answered your question in another forum (Nursing Career Advice), but I'll answer it again.
Some hospitals in my area will issue you 1 year of RN experience for every 3 years of LPN experience that you have accrued throughout your career. Other facilities will start you out as a new graduate RN with no previous nursing experience applied to your record, even though you might have 30 years of LPN experience. It all depends on the specific facility and their policies.
