Greetings!
Anyone near or know Painted POSt ,NY?
I will attend LPN Training in Coopers Campus and would appreciate it very much if anyone could guide me:
1. I am from Michigan and would love to know if anyone can recommend a place to stay for 10 months?
2. Do i really need to bring my car or the place has easy access to a bus station? do yu recommend renting a car?
3. Are the nusing homes or hospitals far from coopers campus that i certainly need a car or not?
4. Anyone knew if we needed to wear scrubs during the class or just any casual attire?
Thanks Very Much and God Bless!

Well, I cannot answer completely but I will say that everything is pretty rural in Painted Post. If you can rent a room downtown you can walk to restaurants, bank, grocery etc... But, regarding the school I think you will need a vehicle to get around. I am going to assume that you will be travelling to the clinics/hospitals for clinicals. Most are at least a 20 minute drive from Painted Post. AND, you will be needing a vehicle for that. Have you contacted the school for this information? They may have other students who need a roomie and travelling partner. I know when I went to nursing school I drove 3 students to and from clinicals with me because they did not have vehicles. Most were from out of state so they did not have cars. BUT, they also lived on campus. I don't believe the Coopers has that kind of arrangement. I would check with the school for this information. They should have someone there who arranges this or can help you obtain this information.
Good Luck!
