Hello evryone. Im new to posting and im also not a nurse, but needed some advice and thought that this would be the ideal place to get some. I am 32 and married with 2 young children aged 2 and 4 years.
I am currently a stay at home mum who is seriously thinking about a future as a nurse and i am even more sure this is what i want to do after spending some time with my son who has just left hospital after having an operation.
I have worked on a ward before as a Clinical Support Worker and really enjoyed my time there both good days and bad, so i have a good idea of what to expect.
My question is.... Is it easy to commence training as a nurse now with my children being as young as they are, or should i leave it untill they are older, or will there ever be a good time to start???
I would love to here from those of you who have succesfully trained to become a nurse whilst still looking after young children.
Thanks for any advice..
