Have you tried contacting Human Resources at Johns Hopkins? Have you interviewed, even by phone with them.

While JHUH does occasional take RNs as H1b visa, they are few and far between. They have hiring freezes throughout the hospital for the last several years. They often get hundreds to over 1000 applications for a small handful of positions. Each week. They have no need for out of the country agencies. I cannot imagine why they would need to use agency nurses from another country given that they would have to wait to get the employee, pay agency fees, etc.

JHH is legit, but personally I'd be leery of an agency asking for 25k to move you out here. That is a TON of money to get you a job. Sounds scammy to me, personally. Not that I necessarily know what I'm talking about. ;)

Sounds like too much money to me. Contact Johns Hopkins hospital directly - I would hate to see you lose that money
