I was ask to do a NCP about newborn with hearing disabilities. and i dont have any idea about it

You need to come up with a nursing diagnosis that is related to the issues w/ your pt. If you can't come up with one from your notes or text, I would suggest you look for one of the Nanda books that is chock full of them. If what your school does is similar to mine, you try and list what data you have to support the diagnosis and then your interventions and then the pt response. We are told to remember "Assess, Do, Teach" when you come up with interventions and responses. Hope this helps.

Also when it comes to pediatrics you remember the needs of the parents/caretakers, especially when it comes to a newborn. Do not forget psychosocial potentials.

But we were just ask to report about Otoacoustic emmission test, and we need to come up with a NCP about Hearing Impairment. and do not know any signs and symptoms of newborns with hearing impairment
