I am soooo depressed because as much as I am studying, I'm not making really good grades. I use index cards because they've worked for me in the past. I just don't know if I'm studying wrong or what. A lot of my class mates said they don't use index cards because it takes too much time. But, I've never studied without them! So, I guess what I really need is some advice on how you all studied. What worked for you? Also, I know for a fact I study more than some other people and they are making great grades. Maybe I study tooo much.

Hello, I just wanted to thank all who gave me soo much inspiration. I made it through my first semester! Thanks sooo much again.

Hi

I knew you could do it!!! Good luck with the summer term.

First I set up the rock-then I got out my trusty chisel.;) Seriously, I took copious notes, and reviewed everything I had written-several times. Early on, I had a Professor who told us that anything he took the time to put on the board would be something that we would see again. He also said when reviewing chapters prior to a test to read the subheadings through it that were in bold print, and if something was a sticking point, to go back and reread that part of the chapter. These hints were of enormous help to me, and my grades were always good-Dean's List, or Provost's List at the least. Good luck!
