what the HECK is PBDS?

i have seen it mentioned a few times. i have been an RN for 14 years and have NO CLUE! i am not a traveler so maybe it is a travel term?

skigr......i did the same and worked for the same...i was not reimbrsed fro anything...after working 3p-3a and driving like a bat out a hell to get to my testing site by 0800...yep....i was cool on some thing s and not on others..some questions had nothing to do with MY NURSING UNIT...tired, hungary and yep i had an attitude....and i didn't even get a letter...lol...consider yourself lucky.........mmmmmmmmm....do you still work for this agency???

Traumajunkie....so, is there a travel company you would recommend? Soar, during this research, I have heard that S f upplemental is the best. When it gets dog-eat-dog in any situation though.....Let me know please.

hehe...i guess just like anywhere your job is how you make of it. i have worked for the same RN travel agency for 6 years...had my ups and downs with them....MY recruiter has been totally cool and there for my at all times...i have had problems with housing and after 3 years in refused to have anything to do with them...nothing personal, just the people. i had been there longer than some of the housing and recruiters, so of course i had my favs...i would get what i wanted done or i would show up at the office ....at one point as soon as i walked thru the front door...whoever i had a beef with knew i was there as i rounded the corner to the cubicle...got to love technology,,,,and they knew i was NOT HAPPY...

but all in all i loved my agency, i was able to sit and talk with the CEO...knew 90% of the personnel there...

now I talke with some travelers and they have had problems with the same company...(page 5)...recruiter problems and pay problems..i just knew what i wanted and fought to get it....eventually it led to my unemployment for the past 3 months because i wanted out of the state I was in due to cost...VERY EXPENSIVE to live there..i was not only paying for my mortgage and bills at my homestead, but equivelent to for an apartment, it put me in the hole BAD...and all i got was .."i feel ya"...well unless you have two houses and two utility bills and groceries at two different locations...no you don't know how things are on the road...get me the heck outta here!!!!!!!!!! I MADE THAT HAPPEN....

SO....i start my new job this week, permenant, in my state, 30 miles from my house and i couldnt be more happy...except i have to play catch up with the bills and try to save my house...oh well...it too will come...
