Heart Station Monitoring Criteria for M/S patients

I am interested in finding criteria that are used to determine which patients are appropriate to sattelite monitor on Med/Surg Units. Please EMAIL, Fax etc. I have searched the literature and have come up empty handed.

I would like that info for myself also.

I work on a med/surg unit, and we are taking a 2 day telemetry class, to get cardiac pts. and the monitors are to be monitored on another unit....I would like to hear the pro's and con's about this, before it actually starts next week.
