hey all. ok, im currently a BSN student seriously considering AF upon graduation. my goal is to become a CRNA and serve in the AF. i spoke to an online recruiter and he told me i basically had two avenues: 1.) apply for the health professions scholarship BEFORE serving active duty or 2.) if i did not get the scholarship, enlist with 1 year experience in ICU and apply for the scholarship again after 2 years of serving. my question is this: 1.) how hard is it to get this scholarship? and where can i find more information on it? 2.) do u have to go to the AF's anesthesia program or can u pick any anesthesia program? 3.) if there is anyone currently on this scholarship, can u summarize the process it took? 4.) any general information on AF nursing life (way of life on base, COT experiences, etc.) would be great! thanks!
