Healthcare Areas

I am trying to decide on a healthcare area to work in.

However, I am unsure of the duties that each one can actually do. This is especially because some health professionals can have cross-overs into other healthcare areas e.g a physiotherapist taking a patient's heart rate using a machine. It might also be that I didn't even know that there was such a healthcare career. 

How could I work out which healthcare area suits me? Is there a way to find out the duties that the different healthcare workers can perform?

Is there a way to find out the exact duties of all healthcare professionals from a website or something similar?  Are there duties that nurses do that other healthcare workers do as well?
