Health wellness coach vs Diabetes educator

Hi, I had posted this question in the nursing entrepreneur forum but maybe this will be a better thread related to diabetes.

I am curious to know what is the difference between a health coach that does not require a nursing background or degree and a diabetic educator which requires a nursing background and degree?

They both target the same patient population and have potential to be self employed.
