Health Professions Loan Repayment Program

Has any of you newly commissioned officers out there used this or gotten this in their contract? I am curious, because I will be commissioning early next year and want to find out what kind of loans it covers.

As of last year for the Navy, you couldn't apply for the program until you had been in for at least 3 years. Unless something has changed you'll have to wait. I applied last year and was declined because they were already paying for my Master's degree, oh well no biggy, try again next year.

ugh, I thought it was a sure thing, but I should remeber that is never true. I was wondering if I would be eligible since I will still be getting the GI Bill for almost the entire degree.
