Applications are accepted for the may program up through January 15th, so you're going to be on a really tight timetable there. Theoretically, It may be possible. Although, sometimes it takes a week or so for final grades to go through through registrars office. Plus you'd have to transfer that credit over to BC. You may be able to put in your application, and turn in the proof of the HCP core a week or so later. I'm not entirely sure. Your best bet would be going to speak with the nursing admissions to find out for sure before wasting your time.
do u know where else i can go to get my health core class
You're a little late in the game there, buddy. At BC, it's an 8 week course....so starting now wouldn't get you in. Sounds like the tech school is your best bet. Just go talk to nursing admissions and explain your situation so you know for sure. And make sure you have everything ready and completed for the application well before the 11th.

You can take it at Sheridan Tech its a 3wk online class.
How on earth can you take HCP in an online format? 2/3rds of the class is physical tasks and skill checks.
2/3 ? No .... We went in two times, orientation & CPR
Everything else was online

Are you sure we're talking about the same class? My HCP doesn't even cover CPR.
We do Vitals/BP/pulse/respirations/temp, proper PPE techniques, handwashing , and moving patients. None of which is even remotely possible in an online format.
Health core @ Sheridan tech we dont do that , their are modules & quizzes on those subjects you also get your hiv/aids, domestic violence, OSHA, hep , and med errors credit. &CPR
It seems strange that you can study those things without actually doing the skill checks. But that seems like a pretty decent class if you get all your certs done. I wish I had known that before I signed up for the BC one. Any idea how much they charge?
it was about $260
Man, I wish I had known. Although to be honest...I think the hands on experience is a little more helpful. Well, at least with vitals.
