HCC Coleman ADN Spring 2019

Hey, I'm applying to the ADN program at HCC Coleman for Spring 2019

The deadline is August 1st, who else is applying? How competitive is this program?

Both are great schools I'd go with which ever is closer. Lone Star is toward the north side of town and hcc is smack in the middle of downtown Houston (traffic). I'm also applying at SanJac that's pretty close to me!

Hi yall! I have been accepted to the ADN Program! Yay! I have been filling out my Castle Branch to do list and I am puzzled on how to get my Texas Board of Nursing Clearance Card? Any advice? I have emailed my advisor but still waiting to hear back. Thanks!

I think they're both good schools, but I'm honestly excited about the new Health Science Tower at HCC. Most schools do not have this and I think it gives HCC a bit of an advantage.

I was a bit confused myself, but if you go on their website (Welcome to the Texas Board of Nursing Website), scroll down and click on STUDENTS, there's information regarding background checks and fingerprinting. Here is the link to the pdf file with information...

Just called re: BON card. Looks like we're waiting on fingerprinting info. We'll need to do that in order to send off for background check & then we'll receive the clearance card in the mail soon after.

Does anyone know how we do the meningitis? It says if you're over the age of 22 you don't need to do it on castle branch. How can we clear it on castle branch?

Have you had it before? I'm not seeing where it says you don't need to have it. I was planning on uploading a picture of some old shot records which shows I've had the vaccine. Now I'm really not sure...

How do you know you have already been accepted into Lonestar? I applied there but didnt think they had sent out the notifications yet.. did they? Application deadline for Spring has not even passed yet I didn't think?
