Hey, I'm applying to the ADN program at HCC Coleman for Spring 2019

The deadline is August 1st, who else is applying? How competitive is this program?

They changed it, it's 104 now. They took out humanity

Really? Because I turned mine in a week ago and they took my humanity.

Well you should call them because the rubric is changed on their website too

I'm so scared, I don't even know how to start. I have my bachelors from Nigeria and I took Anatomy and physiology 1, educ, psyc 2301. Do I stand a chance

Yeah did you take hesi already and passed? Just turn in the application!

No I haven't taken hesi, I just decided on nursing school this past week. I'll try to take is ASAP. I'll do some research to see how I can register

The deadline is august 1st. Go meet with an adviser at Coleman college and they can help you plan what classes you still need to take for the next deadline,

Ok I will, but do you think the time is too short to register and take the hesi, I'll really really love to start school by January, I don't know what to do, anyone had an advice?

I just turned in my application yesterday and the advisor I spoke with said the points are out of 104! I scored an 89 hoping that score will get me in, but am still super nervous about it. I asked her if there had been many applications turned in and what are the scores she has been seeing so far. She said the amount of applications have been steady, but expect a lot more to come in next week since that is the actual deadline. Now for the scores, she personally has not seen an application yet that was over a 90.

Ohh that's good. I went there two days ago, the advisor I met wasn't the nicest so I just decided to look into lonestar, I've registered for hesi, I'll be testing later in August, I'm not very confident because I work two jobs, I don't know how I'll do.

The advisor I went to said the highest score so far is 90, so that's good news for you! Hope you get in! I'm applying to Lonestar too! What's your score at Lonestar?

Oh that's great. I don't know my score yet, I'm only taking the hesi to see if I do good then apply. I'm so scared, if you have any tips on the process, it will be appreciated.

I turned mine in also, I am in the high 80s as well. We're going to get accepted guys, think positive!! Future RNs yassss
