Has anyone heard of the HCA program. They pay for your schooling in return that you work for their hosipitals for number of years. Do you think that this may afferct the pay scale for nurses?

Most hospitals offer tuition reimbursement. You make C or better and they reimburse you for your tuition. In return you agree to work for that hospital for so long after you graduate. The time can range from 1-3 years, depending on how many classes they paid for.
As far as it affecting the pay... hospitals all have a base pay that they pay for new grads, they also have to be competitive with other hospitals in their location.
