I am starting this thread for future HBU BSN Spring 2020 Prospective Students.
Please let me know if you are applying for Spring 2020 and your scores.
I like HBU, however, their tuition is a force to reckon with lol! I understand there is about 15k scholarship for certain GPAs, but how do you guys intend to take care of the balance after deducting the scholarship assuming you qualify? Is it really a good idea to be working while in the program? TIA!

I’ve made my calculations with scholarships will be around 20K for two years. Plus you can also get more Nursing scholarships? Financial aid. I was thinking of getting a bank loan instead of the student loans. You can’t work I think only 20hrs per mth. Also, the good thing that I like about this university is that you can get the Gold Card as medical insurance. Others you need private insurance so you save money if you qualify.

For me, HBU will be $30,900 in total for both years without books + supplies after scholarships. (Also HBU tuition goes up 3% or so every year) I was planning on applying to nursing scholarships, but I saw on the website that the deadline already passed! So my only option right now is to take out loans. ?

Oh *** I didn’t think to look into scholarships because I thought the deadline for them would be later on maybe after students are accepted or not ??

Maybe it’s just for the general scholarship, but I just assumed the deadline of July 31, 2019 was for all of the because the Fall semester is considered more “traditional”

It's 30k + for me as well. And the way I'm seeing it...Loans might be the only option right now. Ughhh!!!
