Travel Nurse looking for info about Maui

Hello! I am travel nurse and just got offered a job in Maui. I was wondering if anyone could give any type of information / personal experience they had in Maui. How fast is the Hawaii license process? Review on Maui Memorial? Housing experience - whether through travel agencies, or you found your own housing? How did you travel in the island - rental car or public bus? Looking for any all all information anyone has! Thanks!

There is a website called Delphi Forums with a section for travel nurses. Its been up for yrs with many long time travelers with varied experience and you will definitely get more answers from that site. But just to add to that some of the info such as the license process and housing-your recruiter should be able to give you some of that info. I am a travel nurse and I am getting calls for assignments in MI, MA and Wisconsin. With the polar vortex Maui is looking pretty good.

I have a 1 private bedroom 1 bath for rent in Wailuku Maui (less than 10 minutes to hospital) . I am a private practice female physician . $700 month (utilities included ) washer dryer on premise .
