Finally i did it thank God.. I'm now USRN! Thank u allnurses for all the guidance. I learned a lot from the discussion boards. Everytime that i need to know something about nclex and nursing question, All nurses is always there for me ... Mahalo☺️

Hi i am also retaking the nclex soon maybe by February. I failed with 220 questions and made me so upset but i know God has its plans and im hoping to pass it this time around. What are your books or your resources for studying? I am uplift reading your stories on retaking it and not giving up.

Hello are you from Hawaii? What are the things I needed to do in taking the nclex in Hawaii? I just recent came here from Philippines. I don't have any idea. I hope you can help me. Thanks and God bless to your next exam. I know God will be with you.

Thank you, yes i am in Hawaii now. First thing you need to do is process your documents from school and thats by the help of cgfns. Visit their website to help you follow through everything. You need to pay fees i guess that was 350, fill up the necessary forms, submit it to them and you need to wait around 3 to 4months for them to evaluate your credentials. Good luck í ½í¸‰

I live in Florida. Is the Nclex easier in Hawaii?

Hands down the funniest thing I read. LoL. NCLEX is NCLEX in all 50 states. Study...study...study!!!

Hi I am a New Zealand registered nurse who is interested to work in Hawaii.

Is it possible to go through the process (CGFNS, nclex, visa screening etc) on my own? or

is it best to go through the travel agency?

Congratulations Annah!

I am about to send the CGFNS request for Academic Records/Transcripts to my school, and I wonder if your school mailed only your TOR or including your other docs (e.g. OR/DR cases, RLE, Course Description)?

Hope to hear from you! Thanks! :)

hi! just stumbled on your post. did you acquire the license fir hawaii? but how? do you have ssn? thank you

i hope someone will read and respond to my problem right now. I took Nclex-rn Oct.28 and passed. got my notice Nov. 1, hawaii BON received my registration with enclosed check of $106 Oct.5 and today, Nov. 4 my license is not in their website yet. Someone here has got an idea how long it would take to get the freaking license? it is frustrating.

I got confused with the info you provided. Are you saying you received a letter saying you passed and giving you instructions what are the next steps for obtaining the license? Or was it the unofficial result? You passed oct28 and submitted your reg oct5?? Or was it just a typo? Anyway, HI does nursing board meeting monthly. That's when they verify who passed the NCLEX then will assign a registration number (which will be you license number). So if they received your paper work after Nov3 and the next meeting will be on Dec1 so it'll be most likely your license number will not be released until then which will be about 2months. Mine took 2 months too. Also they wont post it right away on their website license verification. I hope this helps!

Oops i meant a lil over 20 business days not 2months.

Passed Sept 29 (last yr), submitted oct 5, license posted nov6, hard card license a week after.

Hi everyone,

i am currently waiting for a response from Hawaii BON. I sent my application last Dec,2016 via FedEx, it was received last Dec. 21, 2016. My CGFNS-Ces has been approved and sent to them a week before that too.

My question is, how long do I have to wait for the response? Do they send an email or a

letter to confirm whether I can take the NCLEX or if I still have other documents to comply, or fees to pay?

Im an international RN, & a currently living in NV.

thanks.

They will send you a letter. It took about a month for everything for me.
