  1. Are you planning to work in HI or NV? Coz even if u endorse it in NV you will still have to take english exam. Anyway, yes im an internatl grad. I have a frnd who tried the pearson english exam instead of toefl and she said it's better than toefl.
  2. I only took the HI NCLEX but didnt work there at all. I endorsed my lic here in NV.
  3. That was in 2015 though.. My sister did hers last year and it took 3 mos.
  4. They will send you a letter. It took about a month for everything for me.
  5. Oops i meant a lil over 20 business days not 2months. Passed Sept 29 (last yr), submitted oct 5, license posted nov6, hard card license a week after.
  6. I got confused with the info you provided. Are you saying you received a letter saying you passed and giving you instructions what are the next steps for obtaining the license? Or was it the unofficial result? You passed oct28 and submitted your reg oct5?? Or was it just a typo? Anyway, HI does nursing board meeting monthly. That's when they verify who passed the NCLEX then will assign a registration number (which will be you license number). So if they received your paper work after Nov3 and the next meeting will be on Dec1 so it'll be most likely your license number will not be released until then which will be about 2months. Mine took 2 months too. Also they wont post it right away on their website license verification. I hope this helps!
  7. Submitted mine Oct 5. They said 20 business days to process but maybe because of the holidays thats why yours is little bit delayed. Also a lot of applicants too because nursing students just graduated, accdg to my sister.
  8. November 6 is when they posted my license number. Then about a week after i received the card. Have you checked their website to see if the posted your license number?
  9. Did you guys have to do critical care course prior to starting? Was there an exam? If so was it hard? Sorry for all the questions. I offered an icu job but requires to pass the cc course exam to get the job.
  10. Were you required to pass an exam after the course? If so was it hard? I got an offer for an ICU job with cc course requiring to pass the exam to get the job. So curious of how is it.
  11. To those who worked at ICU, did you guys do critical care course prior to starting?
  12. Did you do a critical care course?
  13. Next one will be jan 7,2016 Professional & Vocational Licensing | Nursing Board Meeting Schedule
  14. Thank you for all your suggestions. I cannot and will not be eligible for a new grad program since i graduated few years back. Im a foreign graduate and it took a long time to process my papers. Anyway, i still tried but ive noticed they prefer "local graduate" and could be the reason why they didnt pick/choose my application. Would reallllly looovvee to work acute care.
