Having a C on a prerequisites course

Hi everyone! 
 

so I already applied to a few colleges around the Portland metro area. Because I know how competitive the nursing programs can be over here, I have a huge concern which I hope y’all can be honest with me on: I have an A on all my prerequisites courses (A&P, sciences etc) besides a one writing course where I got a C (I took it a long time ago) I got an A on the second writing prerequisite course which I took last term. My overall prerequisites GPA is 3.8. I am not so sure how much this one writing class can affect my chance to get in the program. Also, I have only one remaining class in progress... what do you think?
