Have to take cna test a third time

It's so baffling to me that i'd have to retake a test a third time. In high school i'd never have to retake tests, or even need extra credit. I had basically straight a's for most of it. [3.7 gpa] I just got out of high school 6 months ago... I take it tomorrow, the third time, and i'm so worried that I won't pass it and have to lose my job.

I'm sorry this happened to you. I took mine twice and passed on the second time.

Just make sure you study the skill you missed because it is going to be the one that you have to do again.

By now you should know the obvious skills that may seem unimportant like greeting the pt, introductions, wearing gloves, etc.

I know they should have given you a skills sheet to study where it shows step by step procedures. The ones that are highlighted or in bold are the ones that you cannot miss and you must perform. I had to retake the whole skills test because I forgot to put the patient's arms in supine position. I missed that and it cost me to take the test again.

Good luck on your third try. Third times the charm supposedly.

Is it the skills portion or the written? I had to take it a second time after forgetting to put on the patients shoes before ambulating. I went over the skills sheet, remembered what was bolded and watched the videos on YouTube of the skills. Passed the 2nd time!

Nope I failed it. I flubbed it up the third time. Oh well I guess it isn't meant to be.
