Have question for a Crozer or Riddle nurse!!

I have a question for a Crozer or Riddle nurse. I want to work in the maternty ward. I am currently attending Delaware county community college. It is very hard to get into the nursing program. Plus it isnt very good. It isnt hands on like I thought it was. Is there any programs that these two hospitals have? If not are there any close byt he two? I am very egar to get my career on a rolling start now. I just am very lost and confused. Please help.

I graduated from Widener University and it is a excellant school. Anybody that is interested in nursing in the Philly region I will always tell them about Widener :) . I worked at Mercy Fitzgerald as a tech and I came in contact with a lot of nursing students from DCC. They said great things about their program, but it is hard to get into. When I graduate I worked at Jefferson and my preceptor graduated from their BSN program. She always said that was a good program, it was tough, but good. I know some nurses that went to Frankford.

I am at Widener University just starting my Jr. Yr. I find the classes very intersting. The students and instructor are all very friendly and helpful. If you are going to be on a waiting list for 2 yrs why not just go to a 4 yr program? You will be done in the same time frame and have a BSN instead.
