Have I been out of work too long to get a job?

Hi all,

I have been a nurse for over 3 years. I quit my job on September 30th partly because of burnout lol, but mainly because I was going to NP school. Fast forward to now, and well I decided against NP school. I have been out of work for a little over 4 months now. Will employers still hire me? Or will they think my skills are out of date?

Three months is not long, especially if you left your last job on good terms. I'd be careful not to mention "burnout" as a reason for the gap, though.
