lele0227, have you already completed both biology’s (168 & 169)?
I did well on my TEAS but was @ the RM campus last Friday with my advisor and was informed that since I didn’t have both of the BIO’s to consider in the percentage and most others that applied already did have those already, there was a strong chance that I wouldn’t be accepted for the Fall 2019 PN program that I applied for.
So looks like I’m starting my bio and psych class in the summer and I am also waiting anxiously on a denial or waitlisted letter and plan to reapply again for the Fall 2020 clinicals.
Hopefully you’ll hear something soon! Best of luck to you!!

Well if they told you that then that is probably the situation with me as well. I only completed Bio 168 and i did well on my teas as well. But i did call and email Ms. Hobbs and she has not responded to me yet. And some have said they have until Friday to accept their seat. I have not received a letter or email so idk ? if that is the case then i will do the same and take bio 169 in the summer and apply next year. I hope you hear something soon as well best of luck to you!

Thank you for the update. I’ll be on the lookout for an email soon. I wonder how many people are usually waitlisted? I believe they sometimes re-rank after spring session is fully over.
There are still some other schools in the area accepting applications until later this month for LPN programs also but it’s just baffling how different each school’s requirements are from one to another. Some require on the job shadowing forms to be filled out, or specific chemistry classes and not bio classes, some require the HESI vs the TEAS or neither, CNA or no CNA, and some don’t even require 168 or 169 at all, they want 163 just basic a&p?

That is so true I’ve applied for a few but not taking the bio 169 is what’s getting me ? i applied for Forsyth tech but i did not get in because of that and their requirement is if you take bio 163 you have to take it at their school but you can take bio 168 and 169 at another school smh it’s crazy
