I did clinical rotations there in the children's hospital and grew up just around the corner. While the children were fabulous, it was a LOT of work. Lots and lots of "aid" type work was done by the nurses. Also, in that particular building, there were many aids, probably 2 or 3 LPNs, and an RN was in charge of the whole building...I think three floors. People that I know who worked there did not last long. Not sure about the adult side, but I'd think since they're managed through the same people, the distribution of patients should be similar.

I have been noticing a lot of ads for the Aristocrat Berea facility lately for experienced RNs. Just wondering if anyone has worked there. They have the 12 hour shifts available, which I love. Curious though, as to what your experience was working there. How many residents are you responsible for? Did you get your breaks? Was going to the bathroom an option?:lol2:I am worried about applying there because of all the ads running constantly.....why the frequent turn over of nurses?
